The material is comfortable, I usually wear everything small but based on the comments I ordered two sizes up (got a big one) to be sure of the sleeves fit my long arms. and it paid off. the body of the coat is a bit large, but this is a coat, it shouldn't fit as tightly as a beetle, the shoulders, on the other hand, fit almost too well. I can't imagine getting a size smaller as my shoulders fit perfectly and I don't have broad shoulders. The sleeves are nice and wide so I can wear a sweater underneath if I want. so happy I made this purchase, such a great birthday present for me
