They are IDEAL for holding individual eggs during DNA sex determination of chicks!
I use these organza mesh bags to separate hatching eggs during hatching. The bags are flexible, soft, lightweight, breathable and have no weird textures or anything else that chicks might be confused with. Want to know which chicken came from which egg? Place each egg in the bag, tie up, cut the loops, place back in the incubator/brooder and wait. It's perfect for the task and I've used these bags on pheasants, bantams, large birds and quail so far!
