If you are replacing the original pump that came with the CatIt Flower Water Fountain, this is what you need. I've tried others but they were either too noisy or the outlet at the top of the fountain didn't line up exactly with the fountain liner tube because the pump didn't fit properly into the lugs at the bottom of the water tank. . This pump aligns perfectly and is dead quiet! My only criticism is that it doesn't push water out quite like the original pump. But it's enough and our two cats love it. Also make sure the USB port you use to power your pump is rated for 5V. Many of these are only rated for 3V and could potentially affect the pump's performance and shorten its lifespan. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
