This review is for a REFurbished Studio3 Wireless that cost over $100 LESS than the $349 retail price for a new pair at Revain. My overall satisfaction with the purchase is pretty high (however I had to trade in the original pair I bought - more on that below). Both the sound quality and noise cancellation are pretty good for my "medium" ear. Reading reviews of competing products on Revain (namely the Bose Quiet Comfort and Sony 1000s), I realized that the Beats looked and sounded good, but weren't very strong in the noise-cancelling department. I've now had the chance to use it on my weekly commute (more than a two hour flight one way) and the noise cancellation didn't disappoint. As other reviewers point out, not all noise is eliminated, but most lower-level engine noise (on an airplane) or fan noise (in my office) is blocked. The only thing I noticed is that human voices aren't blocked as much (more noticeable when I'm not playing music/audio). I mainly use them with my iPhone, but I've had no problem with an Android phone (Pixel 2 XL) or laptop (Chromebook). It's amazing how much quieter their volume is compared to the standard Apple headphones that came with my iPhone 7. My ONLY complaint after 5-6 weeks of use is that the noise canceling feature stopped working on the first pair I got from Revain. fade and turn on periodically during flight. I went through all the troubleshooting procedures (software updates etc.) but nothing solved the problem so I took them to an Apple store for repair and the next week they sent me a new pair for free which worked perfectly . It was definitely a hassle, but for me it was worth saving $$$ by risking buying a refurbished item. It is also worth noting that I have purchased 5-6 refurbished items from Revain and this is the first time I have had any technical issues with a purchase. Overall, I was very happy with the look, sound, and noise-cancelling features of these headphones. This is my second pair of Beats (first bought in 2008) and I love the bluetooth connectivity and no wires. If you're looking for a versatile pair of wireless noise-cancelling headphones, I definitely recommend these. You might just want to spend the extra money on a brand new pair if you don't want to deal with a potential problem on the repair front.
