These shoes are expensive. This is exactly what I was looking for to ensure my little boy has a good pair of shoes for church during the fall and winter months. Unfortunately, due to his high instep, these shoes weren't deep enough to accommodate the extra room he needed so his feet didn't feel pinched. I bought an entire shoe larger than my current size, which resulted in a lot of toe room and extra length to grow. We've had this problem since he started wearing shoes, so I know his specific needs very well. I wished, more shoe companies would offer lower heeled shoes for kids with high insteps (which seems to be very common but often goes unnoticed) who could comfortably wear classic styles rather than opting for velcro or slip-on styles. I really wanted to keep these shoes but we have to return them. Customer service through the Badorf website was really helpful, patiently listening to my concerns and making suggestions.
