Quality Reamer for Industrial and Scientific Use

This reamer has proven to be durable, versatile, and effective. Based on my experience, it's a great tool for smoothing and enlarging holes in metal and plastic materials. The sharp cutting edges make quick work of tough jobs, and the comfortable grip ensures good control for accurate work. The only downside is that it's quite expensive compared to other reamers in the same category. Overall, if you want a reliable and high-quality cutting tool for industrial and scientific applications, this…

Pros
  • Durable, versatile, effective, sharp cutting edges, comfortable grip.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other reamers.

Great tool. I have completed over 100 pipes with.

Excellent tool. I have completed over 100 pipes with this tool. Another feature of this tool is the handle. This is almost the same for the Ridgid Ratchet 00-R threader. So I also have a handle for my Ridgid 00-R cutting head. I always trust Ridgid brand tools

Pros
  • Has a long conical shape that does not dig in
Cons
  • Doubtful

Will work properly after repair

Arrived incorrectly fitted. The ratchet was rotated 180 degrees so the cutting teeth rotated back and did nothing. I had to disassemble and fix it to get the teeth rotating in the correct direction (clockwise). Now it works fine. The quality of Ridgid isn't what it used to be. I recently had two matrices that didn't work or broke after a few uses. I first started using Ridgid products in 1978.

Pros
  • Model S reamer suitable for use with electric drives
Cons
  • New competitors available
