Overall I'm pretty pleased with these pants. It is a bit snug for what I thought it would be but it's also not your average "loose fitting jeans" or something similar. It's a bit pricey for what it is which is why it didn't get 5 stars. I feel like I could have just bought some cargo pants for much cheaper and tried to make my boots work. Still though, these pants make the boots much easier to put on and overall it does what it's supposed to do.

These pants looked great with my steampunk Halloween outfit. There size chart and my normal size both suggested the same size, so I was confident that they would fit perfectly. Nevertheless, the pants were just a tad large, but I would use them again. The quality of the material is outstanding. I expect to be able to get many Halloween wears out of them.

Fit well from top to knee. If you have large calves maybe look at different styles. I have very thick muscular calves and had to wear the form fitting bit below my calves. The fabric had almost no give so it can’t stretch to fit. Otherwise they worked well for what I needed them for.

The workmanship and detail on these pants are terrific! My only minor issue was that they were just a bit larger than expected, even with the waist straps cinched in all the way. Fortunately I intended to wear a belt so it was enough to avoid them slipping at all. It's probably my fault for rounding up just a bit on sizing but my waist was right around 45" so I didn't want to chance it. Nice fabric and well constructed. I have a 33" waist and am 6' tall and the fit was perfect. There are adjustable tabs with D rings at the waist if you need to make snugger.

All in all, I'm satisfied. A little snug in calves ( but I have MONSTER calves 18.5") snug, but, they DO fit. They are a little on the warm side, not very breathable. They will look great and work for what I need. I would recommend.

These pants would have been a great fit except for the ankle and calf area were too small for me. I have large ankles and calves.I had to return it.

The waist fits me perfectly but the calves are very tight. I am a cyclist and have slightly large calves. I am ,6' and 200 pounds and carry my weight in my abdomen. Nice looking pants.

Bought these pants for a steampunk outfit and they looked great. I'm 5"7' so the pants had a longer inseam, but instead of hemming them I just tucked them in my boots and it looked fine. I even won a costume contest with them so that was a plus. The material is great, not cheap like some other costume outfits, so I can see using these pants several times. Well made.

Color listed as black. Received a very bluish purple. Event too soon for exchange to matter. I can see how the error occurred, they appear black in the package in dim light. But but, us a very obvious bluish purple in normal light, especially when worn with clothing that is actually black.

I bought these for my husband to wear to the Renaissance Fair. They fit great and looked awesome on! We are very happy with this purchase. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The size chart was on the smallish end. I have a 45 inch waste the size recommendation was a Medium which I ordered but was tight re-ordered it in a Large and that fit much better. Material was Good for the price and the Look was Great.

Pants are just as comfortable as anything hanging in my closet, you could end up paying more for a cheaper quality pant from somewhere else.

Purchased these for my fiance, he normally is a size 34 waist in all his other pants, so we tried the medium but they we're too small. We had to reorder and got the large, and this time they fit much better. In my opinion I'd be a little wary of the size. Aside from that, shipping was quick, they arrived as described and appear to be good quality. The return process for the wrong sized item was easy and the instructions were simple to follow and the funds were returned right to my account.

Size fit well, but pretty thin fabric and cargo shorts on the sides are so not even close to being period garb That's my review!

I bought these pants to complete a Steampunk costume for my son. He is almost 5'9" and 175 lbs. He plays soccer, so he has larger than normal calves. The bottom of the legs (where the button down) are a bit snug but we were able to get them buttoned. They look fantastic on him! These fit very well for a man of my size. It is usually difficult to find regular close, let alone anything for a "costume". These are a wonderful exception. These look really great and the material is very nice too.

These were much better than expected. For the price I was thinking it would be like a 'Walmart costume' kind of material. The material is actually durable for the price.
