My 14 year old dog loves this bed. This is the very first dog bed he will lie on, having tried at least four or five different ones over the years. He actually jumps off my bed to lay down on his night. I'm a bit disappointed with how it washes and dries. I don't know if the manufacturer recommends machine washing and drying, but my dog was in an accident so I had no choice. After two months of use, part of the fabric got tangled in the washing machine. When I dried the bed, I put 5 tennis balls in the dryer with it. The filling was evenly distributed when it was done. I definitely recommend this bed. I'm giving one star for easy cleaning because there is no removable and washable liner on the bottom, four stars for durability because some of the fabric tangles, and five stars for softness because this bed looks like it will feel like a gentle hug.
