My 2 year old son wears these boots. He will be 3 soon. His foot size is 8 so size 9 is great to make room for thick winter socks. Even if you don't put your child's foot all the way in, they'll slide right in when they stamp their foot. The boot comes down to his shin (he's about 3.5 feet tall). Inside wool, so warm and comfortable. The boot is exactly the same as in the picture, the yellow dots are not bright. The grip is amazing! I'm in Chicago and snow can cover streets and sidewalks. This shoe serves its purpose. QUALITY on the tundra.
