My 2 year old son wears these boots. He will be 3 soon. His foot size is 8 so size 9 is great to make room for thick winter socks. Even if you don't put your child's foot all the way in, they'll slide right in when they stamp their foot. The boot comes down to his shin (he's about 3.5 feet tall). I ordered a size up hoping they would last two seasons and am happy with my decision. Even with two pairs of socks there is still room in the boots but thanks to the adjustable velcro strap they fit perfectly on my 2 year old's feet. The pair received in pink did not quite match the picture.
