I want to have Christmas tree lights in my living room and most of the time I just use these lights and a lamp to illuminate the room. My problem with a regular incandescent tree is that they have an extremely short lifespan. This item is my first LED Christmas tree string. The lights themselves are about 1/2 (or less) more powerful than an incandescent Christmas tree, but the main problem is that this brand of lamp should have a "warm" light, but it isn't - the light has a sort of green cast to it. I was able to solve the brightness problem by doubling the light, but I wish the light itself was nicer to look at. I would pay a lot of money for an LED string light that looks exactly like "real" Christmas tree lights.
