This is not so - the wheel is obviously metal and you can spin it from the heart and enjoy endless scrolling until the wheel stops spinning by inertia :) The mouse sits well in the hand - not big, not small, just right. When falling on the floor - does not shatter into pieces. Its cons: Clicking with the scroll wheel (to open links in a new tab) is inconvenient - the click on the wheel is deep and tight. Fortunately, there is a separate button on top - I hung this function on it and retrained in a week.
