Review on Logitech MX Anywhere 2S Wireless Laser Mouse in Black by Makoto Sato ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

I have been using Logitech mice for 20 years already. It's time to replace another obsolete mouse, I settled on this option. For me, it is important that the mouse has at least 4 programmable buttons + the "middle" button. There are just so many - 2 side, scroll left / right, and the middle button next to the scroll. The wheel is comfortable and functional, metal with a rubber insert. Clicking on the scroll switches the mode of its operation: 1. Normal mode with clicks. 2. Free inertial rotation, very convenient for scrolling long pages. I didn’t know about this feature before buying it, but I was very pleased with the scroll work. I got used to working with a separate "middle" button in 1 day, I don't know why some people attributed this to the minuses. The middle button in this case turned out to be even more convenient than on the scroll, as it eliminates false positives. The size is small for a man's hand. For some, it will be a minus, but it’s convenient for me, because I’m used to the fact that my wrist rests on the table, and not on the mouse. With a compact size, it is more convenient to take with you anywhere if it is important for someone. The weight is pleasant. Not a brick, but felt in the hand. It connects to a PC either via bluetooth or via the native Logitech Unifying dongle (included). There is no place in the case for the dongle - this is a minus. There are no questions about working on different surfaces. I didn’t try it on glass, but a rug, tables with different surfaces, a sofa - no problem. Button operation is clear. The side buttons are quiet, but the main ones click quite loudly. For those who are looking for a silent mouse - not an option. The rechargeable battery is a plus, before that all my mice were on batteries. Charging cable included. I haven't tested the battery life on a single charge yet. The price is high, but the price / quality ratio is good, you do not feel that you have overpaid much.

Pros: Neat and cute. But most importantly - clearly and flawlessly working. Bought to work with a laptop on the road. Perfect! Compact, convenient, long working time. Its cons: For modern realities, it would be wiser to charge the mouse battery via a USB type-C port, and not microUSB, as it is now. There are simply NO more flaws.

The mouse has been working for more than 3 years. I charge it once every 3 months (approximately).

Pressing the middle mouse button here is done with a button in the center, and not with a wheel. Pressing the wheel changes the feel of the wheel scrolling - smoothly or not.
