The cork is too small to fit snugly in a standard Prosecco bottleneck, including the brand of Prosecco used in the picture. Prosecco necks are relatively narrow so I doubt it will work with most wine or large soda bottles. I would shop around and buy a cork that expands upon insertion to provide a snug fit. Some do this by rotating the top of the device, others move the lever(s), etc. That's how I figured it worked. It's not like this. The cork will NOT expand when the levers are pushed down. So if it's not tight when you first put it in the bottle, it won't work.
