My Galaxy Note 9 could not be paired with this pen. Due to this, some functions did not work. The button on the stylus did not work. There was also no notification that the stylus was out of range of the phone. The stylus itself still worked for writing, scrolling, pressing buttons, etc. If the button on the stylus isn't important to you, let's say because you didn't use the stylus much initially and the phone is almost obsolete now that newer versions are released you might be willing to pay $15 instead of the higher price of a Samsung pen.
