Lineway manufactures high quality ceiling lights. I purchased 3 flush mount motion sensor ceiling lights to place on my porch for security. They arrived quickly and were well packaged. Each box contained a sleek modern white lamp, 8.5" in diameter and 3/4" thick, complete with mounting and wiring hardware. Each light also includes a mounting bracket and white plastic snap frame. The 8.5 inch base, which contains all the electronic parts, is made of metal, which is strong enough to last a long time. The assembly instructions are easy to understand and make installation easier. I had no problem matching the holes on the bracket to the existing standard light mounting box. I had an issue with the new bracket screws being too small a diameter to use with the box. I am thankful that I was able to use the old screws in the old mounting box to finish the job. Before binding the frame you must choose one of the three color temperatures of the light (3000, 4000 or 6000) as well as how long the light will last stays on since the last motion detection (30 seconds or 180 seconds). or the sun (explained in the manual). I chose 4000 for the color temperature and was very satisfied with the light colour. Now snap the frame around the base and the installation is complete. Turn the power switch back on and press the light switch. , Lineway should appear for a few seconds and then turn off to indicate it's running. My porch ceiling is 13 feet high and I was concerned that the light would not be strong enough and would be sensitive to movement. It was more than I needed on both counts.
