Review on TextControl by Carlos Deuschle
Textcontrol is by far the BEST WYSIWYG report generator i've ever used.
The ease with which you can create reports that are easily customisable, very responsive when it comes to loading data into tables etc! I wish there was more support for other languages such as Japanese or Chinese - however this is not really something i would raise too much about since they do provide translation plugins so if one does exist then great!.
Great product overall but just have some issues regarding language translations at times (mainly japanese) otherwise excellent software all around!! Would highly recommend using textcontrol over standard report generating tools because its better than anything else out their by far. Its worth every penny spent buying your own license compared to what microsoft charge per user each month. We're solving our need fo creating large format documents quickly without having access/knowledge how build them ourselves / know HTML coding well enought o be able use traditional methods.
- It has many different export options from excel type formats in addition being capable enough tp produce PDF files along side Excel sheets & even PowerPoint presentations..not found another program tht covers most basic needs we may require while building these types docs.very happy wth functionality included within application itself ! Also love ability
