Shoes were wide enough, not excessive except for the taper towards the toes, but just wide enough that there was no room to maneuver. The footpad has no padding, is cement hard, and there's no room to insert a foam insert without pinching your toes on top. Also, the shoes "look" like they're flat, but they actually have a "heel". Why doesn't Birkenstock make wide shoes anymore? They fit.
