The first unit I received didn't recognize the computer's keyboard or mouse. I switched connections and then the other computer couldn't see it. Ok defective so I sent it back. The second block I got didn't handle the resolution properly. Any computer connected directly to the monitor will easily get 1920x1080. However, if it is connected to a Switch, all bets are off. From time to time, computer #1 got the correct resolution, but computer #2 didn't. Sometimes the opposite was also the case. Both computers never got the right resolution twice in a row, making them unusable for the monitor. I ended up connecting each computer directly to the monitor's HDMI inputs by manually reselecting the input and using the switch. only for keyboard and mouse. So I have a $60 device just for switching between mouse and keyboard. No thanks, any $20 switch can do it, so this one is coming back too.
