Doesn't work reliably.

I wanted this to work so badly but it wasted so much time you couldn't pay me enough to reconnect this junk. When you reboot a connected device, you need to reboot them all in the correct order for it to work properly, usually multiple times. Really not worth the time and effort, poorly executed device. Has all the features I wanted but just doesn't work. I ended up getting a $20 TV HDMI switch and a $20 USB 3.0 AB switch. Yes I have to press two keys instead of one but it works every time, no…

Fur. Good thing Revain is great for a return

The first unit I received didn't recognize the computer's keyboard or mouse. I switched connections and then the other computer couldn't see it. Ok defective so I sent it back. The second block I got didn't handle the resolution properly. Any computer connected directly to the monitor will easily get 1920x1080. However, if it is connected to a Switch, all bets are off. From time to time, computer #1 got the correct resolution, but computer #2 didn't. Sometimes the opposite was also the case…

Good cheap buy.

I bought two of them in the past. The first lasted 3-4 years. I then moved the cables and attached them to the underside of my computer desk in the new location. (Using a cable stapler) I wasn't careful and stuck a staple in one of the video cables which fried that side (but not the other). Now it's obvious that there was a loose nut under the computer desk, and it didn't matter in any way. something to do with the manufacturer. I'm pretty sure they would recommend not having their cables held…

It greatly simplifies working with multiple systems at the same time

I've been using it for about a year and a half with no problems. Four devices are connected: port 1 is a Windows 10 laptop, port 2 is a Windows 10 desktop, port 3 is a Raspberry Pi 3, and port 4 is an Xbox One S. Video and audio also switch seamlessly between all four devices as well Keyboard and mouse on ports 1 to 3 (this is a wired keyboard and mouse setup, I haven't tested wireless yet but plan to do so in the future). For port 3 with a Raspberry Pi, this does not correctly recognize the…

Good price, loud sound

I use this to split a screen between my main Mac and the Windows PC I use for gaming. The switcher with sound features was appealing as I want music, Skype etc from a Mac to be normal and I need to hear GLaDOS in all its caustic glory when playing Portal for the 87th time. Video and USB have been reliable so far. The sound works but is loud. One star deducted for a few minor annoyances: * Screen activity can be heard as noise in the audio. If nothing or only a faint sound is played and the…

2 Major design flaw + HDMI not connected.

This looked like a promising connection device. However, aside from HDMI not being plugged in, there are two major design flaws.1. This device is not compatible with Windows 8 or Windows 10. Compatible with previous versions of Windows, so *may* work. It's hard to say if this is the reason for HDMI not connecting.2. The USB and HDMI cables from the device to the computer are CONNECTED and disconnected (pigtail) only about 4 inches from where they connect to the computer. For the past 8 months I

Yee Haa! Great machine and way better than I expected!

Works great - and corresponds to the manufacturer's description. Now, if my HP Pavilion G7 with Radeon video didn't have a memory leak in the driver software, I wouldn't have any problems at all. At least AMD's latest driver allowed a display swap every 10 minutes (I run the display on a laptop and a second 24" monitor and extend the display). There seems to be a bug in the Radeon driver software that prevents display replacements (if you extended them) causing random behavior. With updated…
