I bought two of them in the past. The first lasted 3-4 years. I then moved the cables and attached them to the underside of my computer desk in the new location. (Using a cable stapler) I wasn't careful and stuck a staple in one of the video cables which fried that side (but not the other). Now it's obvious that there was a loose nut under the computer desk, and it didn't matter in any way. something to do with the manufacturer. I'm pretty sure they would recommend not having their cables held together by nuts for that reason alone, but the fact of the matter is I bought another without even considering another brand. And I like to change again. I have two tips: 1. Pay attention to the highest video settings before you buy. Luckily for me, this is the maximum rated setting I've used my monitors at anyway, and I've never had an issue with that maximum setting. 2. Make sure all connections are tight (by hand). Loose connectors will cause colored lines, etc. Once tightened, your screen will be beautiful again.
