Yee Haa! Great machine and way better than I expected!

Works great - and corresponds to the manufacturer's description. Now, if my HP Pavilion G7 with Radeon video didn't have a memory leak in the driver software, I wouldn't have any problems at all. At least AMD's latest driver allowed a display swap every 10 minutes (I run the display on a laptop and a second 24" monitor and extend the display). There seems to be a bug in the Radeon driver software that prevents display replacements (if you extended them) causing random behavior. With updated driver now every 3 or 4 hours instead of every 10 minutes (which is still a big problem you know what, but it's definitely better than every 10 minutes). This works great on my old trusty reliable HP DV8000 (which is 11 years old and still runs like a champ) Also works great on my home server What I really liked about the USB ports on the front of this switch, is the ability to have a central storage location shared by computers for quick temporary storage Others have mentioned that you can use the GREEN Ener DISABLE energy saving features on connected computers. THAT'S RIGHT! If you don't disable the green feature (so things like the display go to sleep when not in use), you'll run into all sorts of KVM switch issues (all of them, not just this one). If the video hardware is running all the time when you switch computers, the display hardware is active and doesn't need to wake up to start the UI. This allows you to switch between computers almost instantly. Leaving your USB ports enabled at all times allows you to hot swap memory between computers (I have a 32GB flash drive which I plugged into one of the extra USB ports and it takes about 2-3 seconds being swapped between computers (sometimes a little longer if there are many additional drives plugged into other USB ports on that computer, as this should resolve everything in the drive list when a file manager/explorer is running on that computer and running when you go to it switch)). Simply put, this is a great device that has saved me a lot of headaches by allowing me to have a central monitor and extend the display to an active laptop sitting on my desk. I RECOMMEND plugging this beast into an outlet as it goes a long way in keeping each flash drive active and discoverable between switching events. Oh yes, I use Windows 10, Windows XP and Windows Server 2012 Enterprise Edition. So no real issues on either of those OSes (unless Windows 10 is the reason my Radeon video hardware is behaving strangely).
