When I received this oil I thought it was rancid because the smell was not like the carrot oil I had bought from another company. I contacted the company that makes it and told them about my problem. They were more than willing to send me a new bottle at no extra cost and were very apologetic. After doing my research, I found that another company did not add pure carrot oil to their product, hence the lighter "pure carrot oil" smell. I've actually used these and really grown to really enjoy the scent. I'm glad I did as the results on my skin and hair are phenomenal! I will continue to buy from this company
