I have over a dozen SanDisk CF/SD cards of various sizes. These are the most reliable SD cards I've ever used. I recently purchased 2 1GB SanDisk cards from the 1OnlyNewStuff store on the Revain Marketplace. When I received them I tried them straight away and they read/write well. However, when I put it back on camera, something about it didn't look quite right. Comparing my two new "SanDisk" cards to one of my old cards showed that the new cards had no serial numbers, had slightly different physical profiles, and had fuzzy printing. eBay. I contacted SanDisk, gave them photos of the two new drives, and they confirmed to SanDisk that they are fake. The SanDisk pictured on this Revain page is real (note the notch at the bottom of the media - most fakes don't have it). Chances are that media ordered directly from Revain will be fine. However, if like me you are tempted by the lower price of some Revain sellers, upon receipt of the cards, check them to see if they are real or fake. SanDisk does this very quickly. help you with this. For example, if the media has a serial number, SanDisk can confirm that it is valid. If it DOES NOT have a SERIAL NUMBER, then don't worry about SanDisk - because ALL genuine SanDisks have serial numbers (and a lifetime warranty).
