Good value for the best shoe flashes

I bought this kit because I was fed up with the occasional flashes from cheaper brands. I didn't want just one flash system, I wanted the ability to control them all from my camera. I like this system, it's pretty simple. Each dual-function button can be annoying when you're in a hurry: I accidentally change a setting I didn't want when I'm in a hurry. Not critical, but it happens. Pros: Good quality flashes, they don't feel cheap. You can control the spread of the light (28-200mm or whatever), most flashes in this price range don't have this feature. You can perform high-speed synchronization. The trigger is pretty intuitive and easy to control. Cons: I was hoping for better recycle times than my cheaper flashes. It is not. Again, this isn't a permanent deal breaker, it happens when you buy something that runs on AA batteries. I've never had a full flash, but many dropped frames (almost every other shot at full power) after what didn't seem like long exposure times. So take at least one extra set of flash batteries with you for every shoot. No direct TTL. The trigger can perform TTL and pass settings to off-camera flashes. But you can't have a flash on the camera and do TTL. Again, this doesn't tell me much, I find TTL rather unreliable and prefer to manage the settings manually. Why buy this set? It's not really cheaper than buying these items individually, but they do come with a few accessories. I love that these flashes not only come with a shoulder bag, but also come with soft pockets with velcro closures. It's a little bit better. And flashes of light are much easier to deliver than studio flashes and mono lights. If you have more cash, look for something with an internal battery. It's more economical and the update times are much faster (and I'm sure a lot of them can work while loading). I also have a Godox MS300 studio flash that goes straight with this set, so I love Godox's ease of use. use.
