First I would like to tell you a little bit about me. I love coffee to the point where I have a $6,000 espresso machine at home - a Titan (Monolith) grinder + E61 + a decent espresso maker. I needed something for a temporary move, something small and portable but good enough to make a really drinkable espresso. There are many options on the market today, but this one caught my eye because of its affordable price, small size and pressure (VERY IMPORTANT as almost everything in this price range does NOT produce enough pressure to make a REAL espresso). I picked up a brochure about this purchase and after a few days I know I made the right choice. Let me tell you more about it. The espresso he makes is legal. Just look at my photo/video. The pressure is sufficient to have enough energy to grind the water compactly and finely, even with a real espresso grind. I had previously tried another machine and had to return it as it choked on the grind due to insufficient pressure. It also produces high quality creams. The coffee is not bitter and perfect. Adjustable for single shot or double shot. The steam nozzle also creates an excellent microfoam. To be honest, to get all of this normally you have to shell out over $500. The heating time is very fast. I'm assuming this uses a fuser and they're good for those early mornings when you need to get to work quickly. Turn it on and it's ready to use in a minute. The preheat was quicker than my sanding time, which says a lot. Easy to use. Two buttons to get where you need to go. After that I can give it to my dad or mom and they will have no problem making it work. It also comes with adapters so you can use it with pods too I think (this option hasn't been tested). No additional accessories are required. Supplied with a perfectly sized tamper with paddle, single and double portafilter. All in all if you are on a budget and looking for good coffee this is the place to go. This is the cheapest machine that produces high quality espresso at a fraction of the cost of a typical home setup. It beats Espresso, which is better than Gaggia Classic (in my opinion), which is several times more expensive.
