This bracelet is exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight, breathable, and doesn't make my wrist sweat like the strap my Fitbit Alta originally came with. The strap also holds up very well. It closes with Velcro and one of the ends that connects it to the Fitbit is free-floating so it can be adjusted. The overall length is almost exactly 9 inches, with the Velcro taking up about 2 inches. I like that I can wash it under the tap with soap and water and that it air dries relatively quickly. Colour. I ordered a greyish shell with white plastic tips. For some reason I think he looks dirty all the time. This may be because the ends are white. I would definitely order a different color.
