Review on LIFT 57237 LoadLifter Air Spring by David Sharma

Unbeatable customer service!

Great product! I installed this system on my '86 Chevy K20 about 5 years ago. As the car was old it required drilling the frame rail but this was fairly easy to do. There was enough room to adjust and attach the bracket to the rail and use it as a drill guide. The only other modification required was to cut off the excess length of the factory U-bolts. It's easy to do with a small angle grinder with a cutting disc. Probably the most difficult part of the installation was tightening and tightening the bottom two air spring mounting bolts (four total). There is very little clearance between the bottom bracket and the leaf spring seat, making this part of the setup a patience exercise with an open-end wrench. The reason for this setup was to almost floor balance the 4,500-pound camper that sat in the back of this 3/4-ton pickup. The Air Lift system easily levels the truck/RV with only 70psi of pressure. which developed about four years after installation. The replacement air springs are about $100 each and I called the factory to see if there was a way to fix them. Instead, they immediately sent me a new one. is free. Wow! Didn't expect that. Here's another example of Air Lift's incredible customer service. I recently had a wireless compressor remote stolen from my pickup truck by another Air Lift product. When I saw that the replacement cost over $70 I called the factory again hoping for some sympathy and possibly a replacement at cost. Would you believe they just went ahead and sent me a replacement for free? Even more WOW! I must have felt sorry for some moron who had his stuff stolen :) My experience with the three Air Lift systems I have purchased has been entirely satisfactory. My experience with their support team was amazing!
