The strap itself looks good, mine is carbon but I don't really like the material. It irritated my skin at first, but my wrist got used to it. The main disadvantage is that it becomes very irritating when it gets wet, either from perspiration or just from washing your hands. The fabric traps moisture and sweat and pushes them against the skin. Because of this, the band came up with instructions to let it dry if it got wet. BUT it takes a long time to dry! If you only buy this band for fashion, I think this is a good choice. But for everyday use or active gear I would consider a different brand. PS When I opened the box there was a small card that said if I write a review for Revain and email it to Revain they will send you a $30 gift card. . I guess it's debatable, especially since the tape is only $6? So I didn't, but I think some of the other reviews here are exaggerated for that reason.
