Well made but read the fine print on which doors it fits. It consists of four parts that fit together to form an extension. I ordered this with my ideal extra large plastic door but there are two extra large models from ideal pet products 15 x 20 inch extra large original pet one flap telescoping door with ideal pet products 15 x 23.5 inch extra large pet door with ruff and telescoping frame standard and Heavy Weather available. This extension is not suitable for a normal dog. It's about 3/4 inch smaller! I called the company and they also told me that you cannot do this. Yikes you would think they would as they are made by the same company and it seems like amazon's 'frequently bought together' makes you assume they will fit. He doesn't fit. However, you will need the supplied long screws. Bad lettering. Poor design that doesn't fit all doors (perfect pet product) of the same size.
