A truly amazing diagnostic tool. I'm not a professional mechanic or anything, but I enjoy my job from time to time. I bought this because I just bought a new used 2017 Nissan Maxima. With so many electronic parts and pieces, I knew this tool would come in handy. The first thing I did with it was program some new smart keys I bought for the car because they only gave me a copy of DriveTime. I think you'll need to be a bit techy to navigate some of the options, but if you're used to using a smartphone or computer, you can probably figure it out. It didn't take long to find the immobilizer settings and start reprogramming the keys. However, the first few times I did this, I didn't hold the fob directly against the start button long enough for the car to recognize the code on the fob. I had to watch a random YouTube video to realize I was making a mistake. After following the instructions on the scan tool and pressing the fob against the start button long enough, the whole fob was programmed. So I was very happy when I realized it. Anyway, I plan to use this diagnostic tool for more things as needed and maybe program some of my friends or family members car keys if they need it. I'm hoping I can get back some of the money I spent on this, or at least save as much money, by fixing the issues myself.
