When I first used this speaker I was very impressed. The sound quality is very good and it was easy to set up/pair with my phone. The only initial downside is that the sound is rather metallic at high tones. Still, very good sound from a small speaker. If that was the only problem this would be a 5 star product. However, this is not the case. The problem is that my phone and speaker were right next to each other when I first used it. Since then I've tried using it in different places in the house and outside but the connection has been very poor. The audio sometimes breaks as little as 5 feet away and often as much as 12-15 feet away. My speaker won't even connect to my phone in 24 feet. There is no chance it will work at the 30ft distance stated in the product specs. Please note that I am not using it in a noisy area or from one room to another. I also have no problem connecting my phone to other Bluetooth products in the same area. These problems occur when the speaker and the phone are in line of sight. Due to connection issues, this article is worthless to me. It produces excellent sound, so it can be useful for those who only use the speaker in close proximity.
