Installation is MUCH easier than those spring stops that screw into the baseboard! It stands out against the beige wall because it's stark white, but that doesn't bother me since the trim is bright white too. It's slightly soft to the touch so it doesn't pack a huge punch on contact with the handle. So far the stickiness of it has been great. Has been running for over a month with no problems.
