Review on 🔊 SMSL Q5 Pro Digital Amplifier: 2-50W USB/Coaxial/Optical, Remote Control, Black by Ken Ventura

The remote stopped working a few days after I received the unit. I bought this unit to use with our TV's optical output to be able to control the volume with the remote control. Without a working remote, this setup is basically pointless. Otherwise it works fine. Remote control. It looks like the remote was designed to control three different devices. If you press the "B" or "C" keys, it will switch to other non-existent devices and will not work with Q5. The manual doesn't make it clear, it just says that "B" and "C" are not valid. So if your remote doesn't seem to be working, you probably just need to toggle back to "A". This amp would be a 5 star if it weren't easily mistaken for a remote control. Everything else I need it does very well.
