Revainrating 4 out of 5

It takes time to get used to.

The only reason I'm giving this mouse four stars is because I'm still trying to get the hang of it. Wrist and forearm pain requires me to get something more "ergonomic" and most "ergonomic" mice are just "nice on the hands" in shape but don't relieve the wrist and forearm. This makes a HUGE difference in relative comfort, and quite a bit for the "small" version. My hand is 7.5 inches from wrist to longest finger and it fits perfectly. The downside is that you really need to retrain yourself to use a mouse. The basics are simple enough BUT the clicks make the pointer "jump" until you can use your thumb to stabilize the mouse position. Traditional mice use the desktop as a fixed object to prevent clicking down. This mouse has nothing but your thumb to counteract the "left" clicks your fingers make. That takes time to get used to. This can be irritating at times, but over time you should retrain your hand to reflexively use your thumb when using "flip fingers" to keep the pointer steady. In addition, the mouse cannot compensate for incorrect posture. I have an ergonomic keyboard that's a bit wider than most. When seated properly behind to relieve my wrists, the mouse is too far to the right for comfort. I can't help but try to get used to moving my WHOLE ARM when reaching for the mouse so I don't re-position my forearm/wrist in the wrong position. The usual mouse prey was just an action of the forearm. Now I have to learn how to release tension from the inflamed areas with my whole hand. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE WITH HANDACHE/HANDACHES. Just remember that there is a big "learning curve" that you will have to get used to, much like you might use your old mouse.
