WARNING: Not compatible with Catalina OSX

I liked the mouse for 6 months, it is ergonomically comfortable. Unfortunately, if you can't use it to click something, for example, it doesn't matter. After upgrading to OSX Catalina, the mouse pointer moves but no clicks are registered and the Evoluent driver download site says "A driver for OSX 10.15 is under development." Thanks, I'll just wait, until this driver comes out to use my mouse. I wish there was a warning that this mouse isn't up to date with software updates, now I've got $100…

I love this mouse on keyboards, mice and accessories

I love this mouse but be sure to download the free software. The package doesn't tell you that. But the software is easy to find on Google and FREE. This allows you to program the buttons to do whatever you want. Three buttons that use your index, middle, and ring fingers. By default, the third button is "Right Click". But you can reprogram this with the software you download. But quite high. If you have a mouse under your desk on a keyboard stand, you'd better make sure you have the space…

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Disappears

I started getting pains in my wrists and forearms at work so I bought this. I've been using it for 4 years now and still love it. The learning curve (for me) was very short. I used it with ease until the first day was over. My pain also disappeared within a few days. I have nothing but praise for this mouse. I've never had a problem with it and it was easy to "install". I read a review about batteries that need to be changed frequently. I didn't think that was true. I use rechargeable batteries

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

This is a much overpriced product. Surprisingly, this mouse didn't help with wrist strain; Instead, it created more stress, which I think had to do with the button design. The buttons are very inconsistent - having replaced 2 interchangeable units with the Evoluent (3 units including the original!) - I can only conclude that this is a design flaw. The buttons, especially the top button, didn't register clicks - clicks sometimes didn't register, which was very annoying as my finger pressed…

Ergonomic mouse helped a lot with elbow, wrist and thumb pain!

***I'm a petite woman with rather small hands so the small size was great for me, but if you have medium or larger hands you should definitely get a larger mouse than these buy this small . I bought this wireless ergonomic mouse because I was working from home during the quarantine. Working from home regularly and using a small wireless laptop mouse, in less than 2 weeks I began to experience pain in my wrist, thumb and elbow (I will say I know using a cell phone makes it much worse) . I have…

Most ergonomic mouse I have ever tried

I have purchased about six of Revain's most popular vertical mice and have found the Evoluent mice to be the most ergonomic and designed. For example, pressing a button requires only a light pressure, which puts less strain on the hand. This version (4) is an older version, but the newer version (D) had a laser sensor that was too sensitive and shaky, so I ended up going with this version. (If anyone is wondering what improvements the newer version of D has, it has notches for your fingers, is…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No mold required

It takes time to get used to.

The only reason I'm giving this mouse four stars is because I'm still trying to get the hang of it. Wrist and forearm pain requires me to get something more "ergonomic" and most "ergonomic" mice are just "nice on the hands" in shape but don't relieve the wrist and forearm. This makes a HUGE difference in relative comfort, and quite a bit for the "small" version. My hand is 7.5 inches from wrist to longest finger and it fits perfectly. The downside is that you really need to retrain yourself to…

Great, except. - Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I've been using the medium version of this mouse for many years now. I started when I had carpel tunnel and I think this mouse helped me a lot with that. So I recommend it instead of a standard mouse. As everyone says, it takes a little getting used to, but not much. I spilled wine on average so he died (oops!). This time I went for the small size as the medium seemed unwieldy. Due to the small size, my 3 fingers on the right side seem a bit crowded compared to the average size. I have long…

Pros
  • PREVENT WRIST DISEASE - Evoluent's ergonomic VM4SW VerticalMouse 4 gently supports your right hand in a vertical neutral position. The patented shape prevents twisting of the forearm, which is common with a conventional mouse.
Cons

HORRIBLE Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I've bought several over the years. At first the mouse is drifting all over the place like you are fighting the mouse or someone else is trying to control your mouse. The technology is outdated. If you turn the mouse upside down, you can find several design flaws. Below you can see 4 "pads", 2 large ones on the front and back and 2 very small ones on the sides. Well, when you think of a bike with training wheels, it's the same concept. So if you try to turn left or right or into a corner, it's…

Pros
  • CUSTOMIZE YOUR MOUSE - Install the Evoluent Mouse Manager on your computer to customize your VerticalMouse buttons. You can not only change their function, but also customize the operation of the buttons in different programs. CONNECTION: USB Wireless Receiver
Cons
  • So far so good

The software is funky and inconsistent.

I bought this because of all the positive reviews I read on the net for people with hand problems. i am a designer I'm using a mouse or trackball and need precise control. I have been using trackballs and various mice for 30 years and am now trying the Evoluent Mouse. I also ordered an Evoluent mouse pad to go with it. I'm using this on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.11.6. I removed all other mouse control software. It seems comfortable enough that I'll probably continue to use it. Issues: The
