I've been using the medium version of this mouse for many years now. I started when I had carpel tunnel and I think this mouse helped me a lot with that. So I recommend it instead of a standard mouse. As everyone says, it takes a little getting used to, but not much. I spilled wine on average so he died (oops!). This time I went for the small size as the medium seemed unwieldy. Due to the small size, my 3 fingers on the right side seem a bit crowded compared to the average size. I have long fingers but skinny arms - so maybe I should have settled for a medium size (I'm what's considered "medium" - not tiny, not huge). I think deciding what size you need shouldn't just depend on the length of your fingers, but on how wide your hand is and how thick your fingers are allowed to be. I would recommend this small size if you have small hands, medium size if you have normal sized hands, and possibly large if you have wide hands or thick fingers. Currently. My only complaint with this new mouse is that the scroll wheel feels cheap and doesn't scroll as smoothly as the last one. It still works fine - just saying it's not as good as the old one. I changed the number of lines to scroll to 3 (mouse properties) instead of 2 to compensate. I recommend this mouse. It seems complicated at first with all the buttons and such, but I only use the right and left buttons and the scroll wheel. It's not entirely clear what the others are for! So I hope the manufacturer updates this scroll wheel, and I think the sizing recommendations should include the width of your hand, not just the length of your fingers, but. If you work a lot on the computer, you need this ergonomic mouse instead of the standard mouse.
