I bought this because of all the positive reviews I read on the net for people with hand problems. i am a designer I'm using a mouse or trackball and need precise control. I have been using trackballs and various mice for 30 years and am now trying the Evoluent Mouse. I also ordered an Evoluent mouse pad to go with it. I'm using this on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.11.6. I removed all other mouse control software. It seems comfortable enough that I'll probably continue to use it. Issues: The pointer works but the buttons don't work, meaning they don't click on the item I'm pointing to. on the screen unless I remove and reinsert the USB stick in the morning when the laptop boots up. The pointer speed button also doesn't work again, even though the other buttons work (after I reinserted the USB stick). ). It works without turning on the "Hi, MD, LO, XL" indicators on top of the mouse. I had to disable various trackpad settings for the mouse to work, which means I have to reset those settings whenever I take my laptop away from the mouse. Also, the mouse pad, which is actually pretty good, gives off gas, I'm guessing due to the memory foam in the palm rest. I sit here and breathe what's not right. It must be degassed before it can be sold. This is totally unacceptable. If I didn't need ergonomics I would return this. Buy this when you need it. Otherwise I would not recommend it.
