I've bought several over the years. At first the mouse is drifting all over the place like you are fighting the mouse or someone else is trying to control your mouse. The technology is outdated. If you turn the mouse upside down, you can find several design flaws. Below you can see 4 "pads", 2 large ones on the front and back and 2 very small ones on the sides. Well, when you think of a bike with training wheels, it's the same concept. So if you try to turn left or right or into a corner, it's like tipping over. Very tense hands. And the pads wear out over time. So if you're imagining your slippers where they're worn on one side, take a guess. the same idea. Again, this is very stressful. like tire wear. It is designed for forward and backward movement only. Second, the mouse drive is outdated. It hasn't been updated since 2015 and uses your system app just fighting each other again. Third, Evoluent appears to have minimized material costs. As mentioned, I've bought several and the mouse size is smaller than in the past. So small that it tilts at a 90 degree angle, putting stress on the palm and two smaller fingers. The mouse again drifts so much that you literally have to move it 5 inches to cover the entire screen. I want a minimum of movement. Now let's talk about the pointer! Ugh the pointer fights with you, takes forever to "click" or determine where you are and drifts everywhere except where you want it hurts your hand again. The tracking is terrible. With today's technology I want something that suits the fast paced environment, not a scooter. It used to be the top rated mouse, just another ergonomic issue. And the last remark. THE BIGGEST frustration. Every time I start my computer, the mouse is not recognized. You need to unplug the adapter from the USB port and plug it back in. INDEED? I don't want to wear out my USB port because of a broken operating system. Depending on how you reconnect the USB to the mouse, the ability to control the mouse degrades more than above.
