I have purchased about six of Revain's most popular vertical mice and have found the Evoluent mice to be the most ergonomic and designed. For example, pressing a button requires only a light pressure, which puts less strain on the hand. This version (4) is an older version, but the newer version (D) had a laser sensor that was too sensitive and shaky, so I ended up going with this version. (If anyone is wondering what improvements the newer version of D has, it has notches for your fingers, is less spherical, and has a slippery surface to discourage users from gripping the mouse too tightly.) That's a lot of money, that you can spend on a mouse, so I don't recommend this mouse unless you've noticed your wrists get uncomfortable with a cheaper vertical mouse. Ironically, after purchasing this mouse, I started using my trackpad more and I think it helped my wrist the most. (I often select text, and three-finger dragging on the trackpad puts less strain on my wrist than holding down a mouse button).
