Review on Purple PU Leather 4X6 Photo Album With Window, Holds 136 Pictures, Ideal For Baby, Wedding, Family, Children And Anniversary Photos by Mike Pearson

We still print 4x6 photos from time to time and have a couple of shelves of albums and binders from years gone by. This album is perfectly serviceable, and the price is reasonable. It has 34 pages, each of which holds two 4x6 photos on each side, for a total of 136 photos. Most albums of this type seem to hold 200 photos (50 pages), but this album's smaller capacity and thinner width on a shelf can be useful, especially at the price.The photos can be entered into the individual pockets only in "landscape" aspect (long edges horizontal). They are easy to enter and are held securely. Some other albums have slightly wider pages with space to write notes next to each picture, but this album does not. The pages are flat black, which makes the colors in the photos pop.There is a soft cloth-covered elastic band attached to the front cover that can stretch around the back of the album to keep it closed. There also is a 4x6 sleeve on the front cover in portrait aspect (long edges vertical). My album's cover was listed as "purple," and it's actually more of a lilac or lavender color. Like most products in this space, the pages are permanently attached. The construction seems sturdy enough.Overall, I'm very pleased with the album. I only gave it 4 stars for Sturdiness because the covers are not rigid, which is likely picking nits. I gave it only 4 stars for Giftable because it is on the less extravagant end of the continuum and doesn't "make a statement," but again, it is perfectly serviceable.
