A good bread box - very deep. It comes assembled and looks good assembled. It's attractive and the flip-top door slides smoothly. Overall I'm quite happy with it. I was looking for something to store snacks (cookies and chocolates). I was trying to find something high and low like the bread bin I now use for bread. However, the large ones I found were expensive. The price of this bread box is very reasonable and there is really a lot of money in it and I think they offered it at a discount when I bought it. Also, the counter where I keep the bread baskets isn't wide enough for two to fit next to each other. So I placed this door vertically so the sliding door would be a nice feature. I still find it easy to open it and take something out and then close it again. Also, the top is flat so I can stack things on it. Good value for money.
