When I got this strap I tried it and it worked. The next time you put it on, the buckle came loose. The collar that holds it to the belt is broken. So, I managed to restore it. Then it reappeared. There are these little protrusions that hold the clip to the main body of the buckle. These tabs sit in holes. It was the tabs that failed. I had to buy a new belt buckle for the price of a belt. After the buckle problem was fixed, the small end piece that helps the belt through the pant loops and buckle popped out. He won't come back. I didn't send it back as it would have been more expensive to send back than to replace the buckle itself. The new buckle was the price of the belt. This is a good canvas belt. But the hardware will, in my experience, make me look elsewhere.
