just press firmly no need to exaggerate

perfect and great quality! Anyone used to military style belts should have no problem with this belt. it is very long and like most belts of this type, behind the buckle is an adjustable closure with spikes that clamp the fabric. At the other end is a very nice metal tip. I've been using this type of strap for years, so I know from experience that you shouldn't over-tighten the bar in the buckle or it can be painful to loosen later. I just always fit snug enough to stay secure. I've been using…

Good strap bad hardware

When I got this strap I tried it and it worked. The next time you put it on, the buckle came loose. The collar that holds it to the belt is broken. So, I managed to restore it. Then it reappeared. There are these little protrusions that hold the clip to the main body of the buckle. These tabs sit in holes. It was the tabs that failed. I had to buy a new belt buckle for the price of a belt. After the buckle problem was fixed, the small end piece that helps the belt through the pant loops and…

It turned out to be disappointing as the latches holding the buckle to the belt came loose before even putting it on (I bought 3, my mistake). Hooked and tightened in the end and then pulled slightly which was less stressful than walking up the stairs and the buckle came loose every 3 when testing (when the strap slammed 20ft up the stairs with a full tool belt, that's not a spot where

Doesn't hold up well for belts

I absolutely hate traditional belts. They tend to wear out because you have to bend them to get the needle through your belt and they are difficult to put on. These military style belts are a lifesaver because they are super adjustable and quick to put on and take off. But this didn't work for me at all. The mechanism that was supposed to clip the belt and hold it in place didn't work, and simply walking caused the belt to come loose. A lot of this has to do with not wearing a belt *over* my…
