NOTE: Check all the hardware, steel rods etc. before beginning to assemble the stand. My husband assembled the 3 glass shelves then tried to screw in the long rods for the tv support only to discover the end of one rod had no threads and the threads on the other end were damaged. At this point we didn't want to dismantle the shelves and try to repack it in the box to ship it back. After a trip to a local hardware store to purchase a die ( $11.00 ), he threaded the rod, repaired the damaged end, and was able to finish assembling the stand. Also we think that this tv stand was a return as the box was all taped closed instead of being stapled. Aside from the problem I love the stand! It takes up a lot less space than the old 52" projection tv that used to set in that corner. The open shelves are nice and it is very sturdy.
