So the purpose was for our guest room, table setting. It worked great. First, no one has to get on the floor to plug anything in, we put it right on the table; 99% of all devices plug into an outlet, this is corded so it can be located at table height which is ideal for those with mobility issues. Fast charging works great! Unlike most charging centers, there is no cumulative or allowable total amount to charge. In fact, you can connect 2 tables, 2 iPhones and 2 Samsung phones and they will all charge at lightning speed at the same time. It's not like most where they can have 2-3 2.4 amps but then you read that and it's shared so you can really only connect ONE device. Not this hub, you can use any slot at high speed. Samsung was 70% completely empty in 20 minutes. There is also enough power to use and charge the device. It was nice that guests didn't have to pack and unpack all their charging gear and possibly forget something. I sent everyone a link to it because they all love it. I can't say anything negative, it did everything it needed! tell us it works. However, some will disagree that having no light to sleep on is good. Therefore there may be an option as to when the light can be turned on and off.
