Review on Gotham Gold Tone Mechanical Railroad GWC14104G by Matthew Harris

I received this watch 11 days ago and was impressed when I opened the box. Unlike many other modern mechanical pocket watches, this one is very similar in weight to the old Waltham pocket watches I collect. Winding and setting the watch is clear and simple, and unlike other modern pocket watches, there is no slipping of the hands (when the hands jump forward or back a minute or two) when the stem is pressed after the watch has been set. I carried this watch with me. every day, and after 11 days he was gaining exactly three minutes - about 17 seconds a day. Not bad for a modern mechanical pocket watch, although not exactly the railway standard of +/- 30 seconds per week. Overall this is a great pocket watch and I highly recommend it!
