I was totally skeptical. I've heard of silk pillows preventing tangles, but didn't think it would really help me. I have thick, wavy blonde hair (thanks grandma!) that frizzes at the slightest amount of moisture in the air, or just when I brush it dry. I use a lot of straightening products to keep it under control but I still have to iron or curl it. It will look smooth. But to be honest, I don't like spoiling my hair with excessive styling, but at the same time I want to have beautiful hair. I also use a quality shampoo and conditioner, but even that doesn't work on frizzy hair. I then bought these pillowcases because they were pure silk, the reviews were pretty good, and the price was worth it. month and I won't sleep with nothing under my head. I recently went to Europe for 2 weeks and brought it with me to use on all the pillows I've had at various Air Bnbs. Thank goodness because the sheets weren't the best quality and it was so nice that my face didn't have prickly cotton. The gray goes perfectly with my modern bedding, they are smooth and soft but not slippery like the satin bedding I had in my 20's which I thought was cool. it's not like this. The zipper simply disappears and holds the pillow in place. (See my attached video) Silk doesn't feel cool or hot, it "just is". The most amazing thing is that the first morning I woke up, my hair looked smoother. I thought it was just the conditioner I put on it. Over the next few days, I noticed that my hair was generally less frizzy. Again I thought it was a coincidence. Maybe only the weather helps? but my hair was still straighter than usual. OK, not a test for straightening products. and my hair was like normal people's (whatever that means!). I can only say, somehow it works! It's been a month and my hair has consistently looked and felt better since the day I started using the silk pillowcase. I'm finally a believer. I wish I had bought one a year ago! JiangJue's price is fantastic, not to mention the two-pack. I hand wash it in the sink, hang it in the shower to dry and it dries within hours. I hope this works on you as well as it did on my (used to be) fluffy, curly hair.
