Revision x2 - After 6 months of a very happy life, the hinge holding the keyboard to the screen broke. Extremely disappointed. It was a great case while it lasted. I won't buy this again. sophistication -. Backlit buttons but poor instructions. I accidentally had to find hotkeys. So this is the perfect keyboard case. I like this cover very much. The keys are firm and have a nice feel, not soft or squishy. Smooth appearance, seems very durable. Allows you to open and place the iPad at an angle of just over 90 degrees without falling. It's lighter than other cases I've looked at. The only downside would be that the keys aren't backlit, but that's fine if you're typing, no disqualifier. case is very satisfied. I don't know about the battery. I've only had a few days but came charged and haven't had to charge yet with daily use.
