I've had several (three or four) of these cases for more than one iPad and they were enough for me. the same drawback - the loop breaks over time. It doesn't click immediately; It just stops opening all the way and then starts cracking. You'll know it's starting to fail if one day you feel resistance and see the hinge give when you try to open the case wide enough to use the keyboard. I have had several Zagg keyboards in the past. This model lacks the quality I've come to expect from Zagg. The iPad fits snugly on the device, but when open, the hinges are positioned so that the lid actually lifts the keyboard. This makes the keyboard unstable and "jumps" when typing. The edge of the lid is also made of slippery plastic and the device slips off when used on a hard surface (table, counter, etc.).
